Broughty Athletic Football Club Broughty Athletic Football Club is a Scottish junior football (soccer) club based in Broughty Ferry, a suburb of Dundee. They play in red and white and their home ground is WhittonPark, Arbroath Road, Dundee - opposite the medieval Claypotts Castle. The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) restructured its leagues prior to the 2006-07 season, and "the Fed", as the club is affectionately known, found themselves in the twelve-team East Region, North Division.The Club runs a very successful Soccer Sevens Festival each July and the two-day event attracts participation by Under 9s, 10s and 11s teams from Dundee, the rest of Angus and Perthshire.During 2009 the Club further extended its community involvement when it became a founder Group Club member of the Dundee East Community Sports Club (DECSC).Broughty Athletic provide good value football - just £4 for aduly admission.
